PRIVACY & TEXT TERMS

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you join, we collect the first name, last name, email address and ZIP code you enter, and a mobile phone number if you choose to give one. We also record the date and time, the page you signed up from, the wording of the consent shown to you, your IP address, and any campaign tracking codes in the link you followed.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health information. This site does not process contributions.

WHY WE COLLECT IT

• To send you email, and text messages if you opted in, about this coalition’s work.
• To send you only what is relevant to where you live — that is what the ZIP code is for.
• To understand which of our messages reached you, so we spend supporters’ money sensibly.
• To keep a record that you consented, which the law requires us to be able to show.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise share your information with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with the vendors who send our email and texts and store our data, and only so they can do that work for us. We will disclose information if the law requires it.

TEXT MESSAGE PROGRAM TERMS

Program. Californians Against the Democratic Establishment alerts. Giving us a mobile number on this site is your consent to receive recurring text messages from us, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent is not required for anything else on this site.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Neither we nor the mobile carriers are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping. Reply STOP to any message to end all texts, or write to us at the address below. We honour opt-outs promptly and in any case within ten business days. Reply HELP for help, or email us.

Carriers. Supported on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

EMAIL

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. Use it and you are off the list; you do not need to explain why, and it does not remove you from text messages, which are stopped separately by replying STOP.

YOUR CALIFORNIA RIGHTS

California residents may ask us what personal information we hold about them, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email info@caagainstdemestablishment.us and say which you want. We will not treat you differently for asking. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act, so there is nothing here for you to opt out of.

MEASUREMENT

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which links work. If we run advertising, the advertising platform may set its own cookies on this site; you can control those in your browser settings and through the platform’s own preferences.

CHILDREN

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

CHANGES AND CONTACT

If we change this page we will change the date at the top. Questions, corrections, deletions and opt-outs all go to info@caagainstdemestablishment.us.
